it’s taken me 27 years and a friggin boat load of tears to get anywhere near comfortable with rage and anger and criticism and meaness. But I’m still here. Plugging along. It’s only a small boy’s defense system run amuck.

Rage and meanness. I don’t think of myself as mean at all, but I got the rage in me. I got it bad. Besides sloth and gluttony, it is my worst attribute. Okay, really, it’s my worst one of all.
I don’t know how anyone tolerates me sometimes.
